A 6-week program designed to improve DEI practitioners’ leadership skills and well-being while increasing your self-efficacy to create transformational change.

All over the news and social media,
DEI is Under Attack.

Practitioners are being laid off at high rates. Those within organizations face challenges relating and communicating compassionate messages to diverse staff during difficult times. Practitioners are often under-resourced, forcing them to develop programs and policies with minimal impact.

This is not the time to back down and hope for the best. You need strategy, processes, and support so you can ensure that your organization is diverse and inclusive.

Just last week, I talked with an executive at a Fortune 100 company about how to create DEI 2.0 for his company. Even with the economy in shambles, he wants to do right by his people. Instead of laying off, he’s doubling down on efforts to make his workplace equitable and inclusive. His leadership is what makes the company so successful.

Just like I influenced him to level up, I want to help you be empowered to create change.

Are You Ready To Be R.I.C.H.?

This is for you if:

  • You want support in dealing with DEI issues at work.
  • You want a network to share wisdom and knowledge with other professionals.
  • You want accountability to help you move forward in your DEI journey.
  • You feel overwhelmed and frustrated with implementing strategies and programs with little support.
  • You’re encountering resistance and need guidance on how to move forward in your workplace.

If this sounds like you

Using the R.I.C.H.TM approach to leadership, you are:

Ready and willing to transform

Inspired to take action

Creating a diverse and inclusive culture

While Honoring each person’s journey.

Don’t make the mistake I did…

When I started out, I really thought I knew it all. In fact, you couldn’t tell me I didn’t know how to have conversations about diversity. I’m a woman, and I’m Black. What else was there to know?

I thought my lived experience was enough to provide organizations with strategies and resources to implement DEI programs and strategy.

I spent hours dreaming up programs and hundreds of hours planning them

I thought I’d cracked the code!

That this would prove not only to myself but to my friends, family, and former coworkers, that I was the real deal. That I could do this.

So, imagine how surprised I was when I put on my first workshop and it flopped miserably.

As embarrassing as it was, my DEI program conundrum illustrates something YOU and MANY other aspiring, new, or even seasoned DEI professionals may be struggling with– not knowing what you actually need to turn your ideas and strategies into a reality.

Pouring your time and energy into the little external things that you think matter so much (whether it’s following DEI professionals on Linkedin, spending hours with ERGs, or reading books and articles about DEI, the list goes on!) only to find that they didn’t get you any closer to your goals.

And this often means that we neglect getting what we actually need — the inner work. That includes finding the courage that’s going to allow you to:

  • ➡️ Advocate for yourself and your work
  • ➡️ Make those big scary decisions
  • ➡️ Take consistent action toward your goals
  • ➡️  Having the accountability we need

ALL things that can ACTUALLY make or break your DEI career.

It can be really hard to tap into, especially when you’re trying something totally new, and you feel like you’re doing it on your own.

I came up with a simple framework for coaching leaders based on my 25 years of working in leadership development, racial equity, diversity, and inclusion:

R.I.C.H. APPROACH TO LEADERSHIP

Ready and willing to transform

Inspired to take action

Creating a diverse and inclusive culture

While Honoring each person’s journey

HAVE QUESTIONS?

Let me introduce…

R.I.C.H. Group Coaching!

This program is tailor-made for those who are looking for a community of support and accountability, including:

  • New DEI practitioners in the field.
  • Established professionals who are exhausted and burntout but need a shot of new blood.
  • Those transitioning into the field looking for support.

Any of those sound like you?

I’m pulling back the veil on tried and true methods in DEI, organizational, and leadership development to help you on this journey. I didn’t have anyone to provide a road map for me, but I believe we are greater when we share knowledge.

I’ve worked with some of the largest companies in the world, including Google, Amazon, Charles Schwab, and the government, and I want to help you!

If you’re nodding your head, get ready to join me!

I started exactly where you are today.

I had doubts and worries. I wondered if my work was effective and if I was actually creating long-term, transformational change.

But I didn’t let a flop stop me — I kept going and took action, and now it’s up to you to take action, too.

MEET YOUR COACH

Hi, I’m Dr. Vee!

I’m on a mission to develop and empower the next generation of DEI practitioners to dismantle systems of oppression and ensure equity, diversity, and inclusion in organizations.

I’m a psychologist, organizational consultant, and coach with over 25 years of experience in racial equity, diversity and inclusion, change management, and leadership development for corporations, non-profits, and government.

My work has been featured in Forbes, Thrive Global, and Huffington Post, and I’ve had the opportunity to work with some of the largest companies in the world, including Charles Schwab, Amazon, and Google.

I created RICH DEI Group Coaching because I couldn’t find a coach with similar lived experiences who worked in DEI and understood the challenges and opportunities for growth in the field.

I want to help you navigate the DEI landscape and to provide you with a container of support that will add to your personal and professional well-being.
